The Government's being praised for what's being called its "visionary approach" towards mental health

All but two of the 40 recommendations from the Mental Health and Addiction Report will be accepted or considered by the government.
But Professor of criminal law and justice studies at AUT, Warren Brookbanks, says the absence of a suicide target, shows it's going to require signifcant investment over many years to see results.
He says it's going to take many years and ongoing funding to bring about the changes.
