It's investing 1.9 billion dollars in improving mental health and addiction services as part of this year's Wellbeing Budget.
It also includes a 455 million dollar package to offer front line services to tackle major problems.
Voices of Hope mental health advocacy group co-founder Jazz Thornton says it's surpassed her expectations.
She says had she had this level of support, she could almost guarantee several of her suicide attempts would have been prevented.
