Calls for Auckland Transport to focus less on marketing a brand and more on managing public transport

The organisation's paid 12-thousand dollars to social media influencers to promote its services and road safety messages.
Auckland Transport says it enables it to more effectively reach a younger audience.
But Taxpayers' Union executive director Jordan Williams says it's a waste of money.
He says it's not a toothpaste company that needs to create a brand - it's a public entity that should be focused on improving services.
