Some of the filthiest finds this year include cockroach-ridden floors, other pest infestations, and mould.
After inspections between March and May, officials slapped seven places around the city with E grades for food safety - forcing them to close until the issues are fixed.
Eleven restaurants received a D grade meaning they can stay open while they clean up their kitchens.
Two of the E-graded eateries have told the Herald they've reopened after fixing their issues and are awaiting their new grade pending.
