    Emergency services say a recent river rescue should act as a timely reminder


    A group of four wheel drive enthusiasts had to be rescued from a swollen Nelson river on Saturday night.

    A post on the Nelson, Marlborough and West Coast police Facebook this morning says all vehicles have limitations so it's important to know these and make good decisions before going off road.
