Queenstown residents are hopeful the Government approves their desire for a bed tax

In a non-binding referendum - more than 80 percent of residents have voted in favour of introducing a visitor levy.
It would see visitors pay a five-percent charge on accommodation costs.
Mayor Jim Boult says he's feeling positive as the proposal moves into its next stage.
He says it will be presented to Parliament - where he's sure it will have a high level of support.
