The Chiefs believe they are benefiting from their bye at the weekend
10 June 2019
The Waikato based franchise enter their final round robin match needing at least a win to have a chance of making the Super Rugby quarter-finals.
They face the Rebels at the weekend and coach Colin Cooper says to have had a week off this late in the competition was perfect.
He says it gave them time to get Brodie Retallick right again, and his players were pretty battered, so they are now feeling fresh.
Retallick and hooker Nathan Harris are both available for selection.
