Major American retailer Costco has announced it will set-up shop in Auckland's Westgate.
Costco says the store will cover about 14-thousand square metres, with more than 800 car parks.
NZ US Council chair Leon Grice says Costco sell top-quality products in bulk, at discount prices, rather than selling cheaper substitute brands.
He says the membership-model is what allows Costco to offer cheaper products, because it profits from membership fees.
