NZ under 20s rugby team confident in decision making during loss to South Africa
The New Zealand under 20s rugby side is confident in their decision making during their loss to South Africa at the World Cup in Argentina
13 June 2019
The side has been eliminated from the tournament, after missing out on a crucial bonus point by one point during the 25-17 defeat.
New Zealand turned down penalty goal chances during the second half, but coach Craig Philpott believes his side's leaders made the right decisions.
He says those kicks were at the maximum range for their kicker, and they felt like they had the momentum in the second half.
