Mitchell Starc helps Australia survive to go second in World Cup cricket standings
Mitchell Starc has helped Australia survive a late scare against Pakistan to go second on the World Cup cricket standings with a 41-run victory in Taunton
13 June 2019
After a David Warner century helped Australia to 307 all out, Pakistan recovered from 160 for six to reach 264 for seven before Starc helped remove the tail.
Captain Aaron Finch is disappointed they didn't fully capitalise on a 146 run opening stand.
He says they probably tried to go a little too hard too early but it's great they still got the two points.
