Eight people have been arrested after police drug raids in Otago

Eight people have been arrested after police drug raids in Otago

Police seized cannabis, methamphetamine, MDMA, ammunition and more than 10-thousand-dollars in cash.

Eight search warrants were carried out on Monday.

Of those arrested, a 52-year-old Mongrel Mob member and 49-year-old female from Dunedin have already appeared before the Dunedin District Court.

Detective sergeant Reece Munro says those engaging in this type of offending need to think about the impact on their communities and families.
