    A new name atop the leaderboard at the US golf Open at Pebble Beach


    American Gary Woodland has moved to the outright lead, as he plays the final hole in his second round.

    Woodland is eight-under for the tournament and five-under for the day through 17 holes.

    Justin Rose remains the clubhouse leader at seven-under.

    Kiwis Ryan Fox and Daniel Hillier have missed the cut.
