Gisborne's property market is cause for cheer

There's been a lot of growth in house values - driven by the affordability of the housing stock.

OneRoof editor Owen Vaughan says it's because people are being priced out of markets like Auckland, and are looking for the next affordable place.

He says that means Gisborne's finally coming into its own... as it's probably been overlooked in the past.
