Ryan Fox's bid to make the cut at the US golf Open has fallen short
15 June 2019
With the projected cut at two-over, the kiwi looked destined for a certain miss at six-over the card through 11 holes of his second round before rallying to three-over with a hole to play.
However, he double bogeyed for a two-over round of 73 and be five-over through two rounds in a share of 103rd.
Fellow New Zealander Daniel Hillier has also missed the cut.
Justin Rose remains in the lead at seven-under, one clear of American Gary Woodland who remains out on course.
Two-time defending champion Brooks Koepka's in a share of sixth at four-under.
He says he has a chance and that's all he can ask for.
