    Gary Woodland claims maiden major championship at US Open at Pebble Beach

    Gary Woodland has claimed a maiden major championship with a three-shot victory over defending champion Brooks Koepka at the US Open at Pebble Beach


    Woodland has drained a 30-foot birdie putt on the par-five 18th to seal his triumph.

    He finished at 13-under for the tournament.

    He says he never let himself think it was done.
