Rugby Australia could be about to suffer another blow
18 June 2019
The Sydney Morning Herald is reporting the country's National Rugby Championship could be about to lose its broadcaster Foxtel.
The network is currently under severe financial pressure after recording a loss of 417 million Australian dollars in 2018.
The NRC and football's FFA Cup appear to be the first competition's set to receive the cut as Foxtel look to reduce costs.
It comes at a time when Rugby Australia deals with the fallout of the Israel Folau saga.
