    Wtness says unrestrained woman and baby were passengers in South Auckland police pursuit

    A witness says a woman and a baby were unrestrained passengers in a police pursuit, which ended with the driver crashing in South Auckland


    The crash took place on Solo Place in Manurewa just after 2pm today.

    One person has been transported to hospital in a serious condition.

    The witness says neither the woman nor the baby were wearing seatbelts, as the car crashed and the airbags deployed.

    One person was arrested at the scene.
