NZ Bowls team has morning off to prepare for semi-finals at Asia Pacific Championship

A morning off to prepare for the semi-finals this afternoon for most of the New Zealand Bowls team at the Asia Pacific Championship on the Gold Coast

The womens four along with the mens pair and triple went straight into the semis by virtue of topping their respective sections.

    All three teams are unbeaten.

Mens triples lead Mike Kernaghan says it doesn't matter who they play this afternoon, as all the teams that got through are decent side and it will be a tough battle.

Commonwealth Games champions Jo Edwards plays her women singles quarter-final against Canadian Kelly McKerihen at 11 o'clock this morning
