    One person has been seriously injured in a bedroom fire at a lodge in Auckland's Grey Lynn


    Firefighters were called just before 11 o'clock last night to the blaze on Shirley Rd, which was quickly extinguished.

    Three ambulances were sent to the scene and one person was taken to Auckland Hospital.

    Fire investigators will return this morning.
