Budgeting and Financial Capability group FinCap is welcoming the move to axe frontline sales incentives for bank staff

The Financial Markets Authority and the Reserve Bank have announced all banks have signed on for the change.

FinCap chief executive Tim Barnett hopes it will remove the pressure put on people who are in difficult financial positions.

He says if people are vulnerable then those sales methods are particularly damaging.
