A stunning move for one of New Zealand football's brightest young stars

A stunning move for one of New Zealand football's brightest young stars

    - article from

Multiple sources are reporting that Wellington Phoenix midfielder Sarpreet Singh has signed with German giants Bayern Munich.

The suggestion is Singh would initially join the club's reserve team and push for inclusion in the first team squad of the defending Bundesliga champions.

While it's a blow for the Phoenix, a move like this is irresistible for 20-year old Singh, who has long been considered one of New Zealand football's brightest prospects.
