20 year old Callum McCowatt is ecstatic after signing his first professional contract with the Wellington Phoenix

20 year old Callum McCowatt is ecstatic after signing his first professional contract with the Wellington Phoenix

The New Zealand under 20 star has joined the A-League club from New Zealand football Championship side Eastern Suburbs, having come through the Ole football Academy.

He says it's a good step into professional football and a good opportunity to play with some talented players from New Zealand and elsewhere and potentially play a lot of minutes.
