Wellingtonians are being warned of several potential measles hotspots in the city

Wellingtonians are being warned of several potential measles hotspots in the city

Regional Public Health's confirmed four further cases of measles in the capital - bringing the total up to fifteen in the region.

Medical Officer of Health Annette Nesdale says the infected people visited several places in Wellington before they knew they had the disease.

People who may have been in those areas at that time are being asked to watch out for symptoms.

They include a morning and evening Johnsonville commuter train, Midnight Espresso cafe and Manners Street McDonalds on the 18th June.

The James Cook Hotel foyer or walkway on the 20th and 21st of June was also visited.
