Claims landlords have had more than enough time to insulate properties

Changes made to the Residential Tenancies Act mean landlords could face fines of up to four-thousand-dollars if their properties aren't insulated by the first of July.
Real Estate Institute of New Zealand, CEO Bindi Norwell, says while they hope most people will follow the rules, landlords won't get away with not being compliant.
She says they've had three years to get it done, and MBIE will take complaints very seriously.
