Tom Walsh has been left frustrated by his latest result on the Diamond League circuit

The world champion shot putter has finished third in California, managing a throw of just 21.76 metres, nearly a metre behind Brazilian winner Darlan Romani.

Walsh says the put kept coming from his palm, which limits distance.
