One of the biggest transfers in New Zealand football history has been confirmed

One of the biggest transfers in New Zealand football history has been confirmed

All Whites midfielder Sarpreet Singh has officially signed with German giants Bayern Munich on a three year deal after spending two seasons with the Wellington Phoenix in the A-League.

Singh will play for the Bayern reserve team in the German third division, with the hope of eventually cracking the first team.

Scouts took notice of Singh during the recent Under 20 World Cup in Poland.

Singh says it was hard to believe Bayern were legitimately interested in him as they're such a big club.

He says it's an extremely big opportunity and he's humbled to have the chance and is looking to develop as both a player and person.

Sarpreet Singh is already in Munich and won't return to New Zealand until he's allowed a break.
