All Blacks selector admits it'll be hard for anyone not in current squad to go to World Cup
All Blacks selector Grant Fox admits it will be hard for anyone outside the current All Blacks squad to get a ticket to the rugby World Cup
3 July 2019
A 39-strong New Zealand squad has been selected for the opening two games of the Rugby Championship.
Nathan Harris, Te Toiroa Tahuriorangi and Waisake Naholo are the notable players to have missed out - while Liam Squire ruled himself out.
Fox says those players within the squad would have to struggle, and those on the outer would need to play extremely well in other games to push their cases.
He says then it would force them to have a good think, plus they may still be an injury or two.
