The Otago Daily Times reports emergency services were called to the Good Laundry Company last night.
Wanaka volunteer deputy fire chief Tony Wellman says the woman had her arm jammed in three rollers.
He says his team were able to use airbags to free her.
Wellman's crew had just returned from winning a South Island competition dealing with people trapped in difficult situations.
