A Rotorua childcare centre teacher has been censured, for leaving a two-year boy locked inside at the end of the day

The boy's mother saw the child asleep on a cushion through the windows of the locked E-babies Early Learning Centre at Glenholme Primary School when she arrived to collect him.
He had been left inside the stifling hot room after all the teachers had left.
The Teachers Disciplinary Tribunal has censured the head teacher for forgetting about the child when she locked up, because she was distracted by a student from the school arriving to collect a stroller.
The teacher resigned the following day.
