20-year-old US golfer Matthew Wolff has won his first PGA event in just his third tournament as a professional
8 July 2019
Wolff hit an eagle on the 18th to finish 21-under and win the latest stop in Minnesota.
Wolff made his professional debut just six weeks ago after a stellar amateur career that includes the 2019 individual college title with Oklahoma State University.
He's just the seventh player in the last 80 years to win a PGA Tour event before turning 21.
The previous six have all gone on to win at least three majors.
Kiwis Tim Wilkinson and Josh Geary have finished second at their respective second-tier tournaments in the USA and Europe to boost their chances of returning to the top flight next year.
