Seven out of the 27 stores operated in the area by the Trusts, are reopening after yesterday shutting up shop in reaction to two robberies in as many days.
Trusts CEO Simon Wickham says opening seven outlets until 8pm will let them keep serving West Auckland, while ensuring the safety of customers and staff.
He says they've had strong community support over their decision to close all stores yesterday, and will reassess other stores tomorrow.
