Public health officials have issued another measles alert

Public health officials have issued another measles alert

Auckland Regional Public Health is urging people on board a recent flight from Bali to Auckland keep an eye out for symptoms.

A person with measles left Denpasar on Emirates Flight EK450 just before 5pm local time on July 3rd and was seated in economy class, near the rear of the plane.

People travelling on the same flight who were also down the back -- and who are not immune to measles -- may be at risk of catching the illness.

Dr Julia Peters says people should be vigilant for symptoms of the disease.
