Simona Halep will have to overcome the biggest name in women's tennis if she is to claim her first Wimbledon title

The Romanian will play Serena Williams in the final after both cruised through their semi finals with straight sets wins over Elina Svitolina and Barbora Strycova .

Meanwhile kiwi Michael Venus and his doubles partner Raven Klaasen have been knocked out in the tournament's semi-finals.

Venus is happy with the result, despite falling one game short of their efforts at the All England Club last year.
