More than a week on ... central Auckland's Victopia apartment building's still disrupting the city

More than a week on ... central Auckland's Victopia apartment building's still disrupting the city

Nelson Street has been closed between the TVNZ building and Fanshawe Street, since a 40-kilogram cladding panel flew off the building in stormy weather last Thursday.

Victopia body corporate representative Ian Harris says today's poor weather will delay things, but they hope the road will reopen by Sunday.

He says the building's residents have been supportive.

Harris says they understand what's going on and the works aren't really impacting on their living situation.
