The Englishman has signed a two year deal with the Wellington Phoenix, having spent last season on loan for League One side Bradford City.
He's also netted 83 goals in 373 appearances in the English Football League over a 10 year period.
Ball says he could have kept playing in the UK, but wanted a new challenge.
He explains what he brings to the table.
Ball is the 16th player signed for the 2019/20 season, and third import.
