All Blacks coach Steve Hansen will miss seeing the cricket World Cup final

All Blacks coach Steve Hansen will miss seeing the cricket World Cup final

While the majority of the squad leave tonight for next weekend's Rugby Championship test in Argentina, Hansen will stay in New Zealand to spend time with the non-travellers and leave on Sunday.

Hansen says it's a shame he won't get to see New Zealand and England square off at Lord's, but he's sent Black Caps coach Gary Stead a text.

He says it just goes to show once you get to the knockout stage and perform, you have a chance to win and wishes the team all the best in the final.
