Beauden Barrett's move north to the Blues has been one in the works for some time

Beauden Barrett's move north to the Blues has been one in the works for some time

Blues CEO Michael Redman says it's been a lot of work to get it the four-year deal across the line.

He says they've been working with his agent which has been going on for a couple of months.

Barrett's tenure with the Blues will begin mid-way through next year's Super Rugby campaign.
