Katrina Rore is continuing to make positive strides at the netball World Cup in Liverpool

Katrina Rore is continuing to make positive strides at the netball World Cup in Liverpool

The defender played 16 minutes during New Zealand's opening win over Malawi in her first competitive match since recovering from a calf injury.

Silver Ferns assistant coach Deb Fuller says Rore's been fully committed to her recovery and it's showing.

She says it's awesome to see Rore extend herself more with every moment of the game.

The Silver Ferns face Barbados tonight.

    Centre pass is at 10pm.
