    A record breaking sixth Formula 1 British Grand Prix victory for Lewis Hamilton


    The five time world champion has eased to a 25 second win over Mercedes team-mate Valterri Bottas and Ferrari's Charles Leclerc at Silverstone this morning.

    His seventh win of the Formula 1 season extends his lead in the drivers standings to 39 points over Bottas.

    Red Bull's Max Verstappen has been involved in another controversial incident, after Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel drove into the back of him whilst battling for third with 15 laps to go.

    Verstappen recovered to finish fifth while Vettel ended up a lap down in 16th.
