The Taranaki prop made his test debut in the corresponding Rugby Championship fixture with Argentina last year and tacked on two more appearances on the end of year tour.
Ta'avao says the extra confidence comes from the difference in how he earned his spot this year compared to last.
He says to be around the squad you are used to the way things work and all you need to focus on is being a good rugby player.
