Vaccination rates are dropping across the country, in the midst of a measles outbreak

Vaccination rates are dropping across the country, in the midst of a measles outbreak

Herald research shows just 77 per cent of six-month-olds are getting their jabs on time, down 4.5 percent since rates peaked in 2016.

Reporter Kirsty Johnston says the fall isn't being driven by anti-vaxxers... it's down to poverty.

She says some families can't get their children to a clinic because they don't have transport, or both parents are working.
