Halfback Kodi Nikorima injured his ankle after stretching out to score a try in the second half.

Wing David Fusitu'a was a late withdrawal with a hamstring strain, while his flank partner Ken Maumalo failed to recover from a head knock in time for the match.

Warriors coach Stephen Kearney says there's just a lot of bumps and bruises.

Kearney expects Fusitu'a to miss next week's match with the Eels.
