    Convicted Australian drug runner Cassie Sainsbury has 7 months taken off sentence

    Convicted Australian drug runner Cassie Sainsbury has had 7 months shaved off her sentence and will be eligible for parole in just 10 months


    It comes after the 24 year old, dubbed Cocaine Cassie, has turned her life around behind bars in Colombia - staying fit and healthy and teaching English to students from a language school.

    She was sentenced to six years jail after being arrested with 6kg of cocaine in Bogota in April 2017.
