    Fire crews are working to contain a large hay barn fire near Christchurch


    Firefighters were called to the barn on Spencerville Road near Brooklands about 1.30 this morning to find it well alight.

    Two fire trucks, seven water tankers, and 21 firefighters are currently on the scene.

    Crews are pulling apart about 150 large bales of hay to dampen down any hot spots.
