    An impeccable golfing pedigree has failed to secure world No.1 Brooks Koepka a third major in a year


    The American has finished at six-under par, nine shots adrift of Irishman Shane Lowry at The Open championship.

    Koepka's been inside the top-four at each of the five majors during the last 12 months, but says Lowry was in total control at Northern Ireland's Royal Portrush.
