A repeat child sex offender, who threatened to spread HIV, is being released from prison later this year

A repeat child sex offender, who threatened to spread HIV, is being released from prison later this year

Rory Francis was sentenced to nine years and four months in prison in 2010 for rape and other sexual offending against boys and girls.

Francis now identifies as a female and uses the name Laken McKay.

She was released last year, but was recalled to prison in October for breaching her parole conditions.

She's set to be released in September, and will be electronically monitored and banned from public spaces where children gather.
