Lightning CEO Danielle Smith says they'll chat with the pair when they both return across the ditch.
She says at they'll work with them both to see what works best for everyone, but at some point, it will end.
There have been suggestions Taurua might consider moving into a leadership role with Ngapuhi and Maoridom.
