    Colombian Egan Bernal has all-but become the youngest Tour de France champion in 110 years


    The 22 year old Colombian has extended his lead to one minute and 11 seconds, after finishing fourth on the penultimate stage won by Vincenzo Nibali .

    Bernal's Team Ineos teammate Geraint Thomas is in second, with there a further 20 seconds back to third.

    Barring disaster on the ride into Paris, Bernal will also become the first ever Latin American champion in Le Tour.
