A joint bid between New Zealand and Australia for the 2023 women's football World Cup is still a possibility

New Zealand Football's path to host has been complicated by FIFA's decision to expand the tournament from 24 to 32 teams.

FIFA will send an updated compliance document with stadium, training pitches and accommodation specifications in the next two weeks.
