Queenstown's water supply should be fine... while a burst main is repaired

Cars were swept away and a luxury hotel was flooded after the Thompson Street main was ruptured by contractors.
Queenstown Lakes District Council's infrastructure manager Peter Hansby says they've secured the drinking water.
He says the only issue some people might face is access to the Thompson Street Area.
Hansby says although the Hotel St Moritz was flooded - it appears to have escaped damage - but one or two properties might be affected.
